Have you experienced the death of a loved one? Are you struggling after a divorce? Perhaps you are going through a chronic illness? Do you feel overwhelmed by your emotions of guilt, anger and depression?
Coping with Grief and Loss
Grief is a natural response to any form of loss. And it is important to recognize that every person experiences grief in his or her own individual way. No one way of grieving is “better” than the other. The more significant the loss, the deeper the grief reaction will be.
Here are some examples of grief and loss I work with in my practice:
- Death of a loved one
- Loss of health due to illness or accident
- Divorce or the end of a relationship
- Miscarriage
- Loss of a sense of safety after a trauma
- Death of a pet
- Loss of financial stability
